Members of the Los Angeles Unified School District school board are elected to four-year terms. Three or four seats are up for election on a staggered basis every even-numbered year in November and before the 2020 election, the school board was elected in the spring in odd-numbered years. The primary election is scheduled for March 5, 2024, and the general election is scheduled for November 5, 2024.
