Summer Workshop: @PLUSMEproject is honoring Black student stories with a new program: The Griot Circle (6/20-7/22)

https://www.theplusmeproject.org/griot-circle

PLUS ME is excited to pay homage to this tradition by providing a free virtual 5-week summer storytelling program for Black high school students in SoCal. It will be a great opportunity to continue to honor and champion Black stories while practicing your writing and interpersonal communication skills with the help of a free PLUS ME journal. With the help of 5 Black changemakers who will serve as guest speakers, you will be empowered and find support as you celebrate your story. You will meet virtually every Friday with other students to share your stories and reveal insights from the weekly assignments. Upon program completion, you will receive a certificate of accomplishment.
