assessments. Our athletes earned championships at the Middle School competitions, double digit Northern League Championships, two City Championships, and qualifiers at the state level for track and swim! Our artists earned Superior Rankings and kudos throughout the city for their showcases and performances. Our Career and Technical Education program has expanded to seven pathways!

To increase our school funding for direct materials and support for students, the PTSA respectfully requests a donation towards your choice of Academics, Arts, and/or Athletics, at Eagle Rock Junior/Senior High School. The needs range from scholarships to musical instruments to athletic equipment. No amount is too small to support your neighborhood school. Checks can be made payable to Eagle Rock Jr./Sr. High PTSA, and returned to your child’s English teacher or to the main office. You may also go online to make a donation through the Electronic Membership System when you join, or through Paypal.

We look forward to your continued support of the school!

Did you know that students can be members of PTAs or PTSAs and serve on your executive board? Learn more about involving students here.

When reaching out to students, keep in mind these seven key points to share, provided by student representatives on our California State PTA Board of Managers.

  • To gain leadership experience that you’ll use for the rest of your life
  • So that you get to decide how your school can serve and affect you
  • To receive access to scholarships
  • To enjoy benefits and discounts
  • To share your ideas and let your voice be heard
  • To positively impact your community through service (most schools require community service hours in order to graduate)
  • To make a difference for your generation and the generations to come

Welcome Back!

Welcome to all new and returning students and their families, to staff and to community members.  We are very excited to meet new friends, and say hello to familiar faces on campus.  We are committed to working closely with the staff, students and the community members in order to provide the most positive experience for the members of the Eagle Rock High School community.

I have been a part of the LAUSD family since 1999, when my oldest son entered Kindergarten at Mt. Washington Elementary.  I joined the PTA as a board member in 2000, and have been a PTA member, volunteer and parent leader since then.  This is my third year with Eagle Rock Jr./Sr. High PTSA, with my youngest daughter entering 9th grade this year.  All of my three children attended Mt. Washington Elementary PTA, then moved on to different middle schools and high schools: Renaissance Arts Academy, Arroyo Seco Museum Science Magnet , Ramon C. Cortines Visual and Performing Arts High School and of course, Eagle Rock Jr./Sr. High School.

Having experienced different schools, and being involved with over 100 PTA and PTSA schools within Los Angeles Unified School District, I am proud to say that I have seen many successful accomplishments and achievements through the perseverance, hard work and dedication of staff, parents, students and community leaders.  I am now witnessing the same at Eagle Rock High, everyone striving to provide the best possible educational experience within our school community.

Our team consists of dedicated volunteers with different and varying expertise, specialties, knowledge and skills that they bring to the PTSA.   To find out who we are and our purpose and mission, visit the About page.

Please feel free to contact us anytime with questions, concerns, information or just to say hello.  We would love to hear from each and everyone of you!

Anvi Kevany, President
